The ingredients needed to make Malay Style Fried rice:
  1. Take Rice
  2. Get Prawns, minced chicken
  3. Take 2 tablespoons chili paste
  4. Get 2 tablespoons mashed/blended onions
  5. Get Mashed garlic and anchovies
  6. Get Oyster sauce, soy sauce
  7. Make ready Vegetables or Chili padi (optional)
  8. Make ready Salt
  9. Take Cooking oil
Steps to make Malay Style Fried rice:
  1. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil into a frying pan. Add mashed garlic & anchovies, fry it for 2-3minutes.
  2. Add onions and chili paste. Leave it for 4-5minutes and add prawns/minced chicken. Add some oyster sauce and soy sauce.
  3. Mix and wait until it is cooked. Add salt and leave it for a while before you add the rice.
  4. Lastly add an egg, wait until it is half cooked and mix it well with the rice.
  5. Now your fried rice is ready to eat! You can also add some fried anchovies or fried egg on top of it and enjoy!
