  6. Now take the nondairy whipped cream and whisk it on full speed. - When it comes soft and stand peaks then it is ready.
  7. Apply the cream on the sponge layers and cover with cream full cake.
  8. Now take one cup of water and 4 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cornflour. Mix it well and cook it until it becomes a gel.
  9. When its cool down drops the colour and strawberry essence. When it gets properly cooled then spread on the cake.
  10. Make some design on sides of cake and top of the cake.
  11. Now the cake is ready. Take it in the fridge for 2 to 3 hrs. Now ready to serve.

The cake is very moist with a buttery chocolate taste. Red Velvet Cake is not just a chocolate cake with red food colouring added. This cake is softer than most, "velvet-like", and the chocolate taste is actually quite mild. It's more like a cross between a vanilla and chocolate cake with a very subtle tang from buttermilk. And it is generously smothered in a fluffy cream cheese frosting.
