The ingredients needed to make Two layer alfredo lasagna:
  1. Take 1 box lasagna noodles
  2. Take 1 large onion, chopped
  3. Prepare 1/2 packages spinach
  4. Take 1 cup sliced mushroom
  5. Make ready 1 clove garlic, minced
  6. Take 2 chicken breasts
  7. Take 15 oz ricotta cheese
  8. Make ready 15 oz alfredo sauce
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp oregano
  10. Get salt & black pepper
  11. Take 1 tbsp olive oil
  12. Get aluminum foil

Pour the rest of the alfredo sauce over the top… and don't put the last cheese layer on yet! You are going to cook the lasagna without the epic top cheese layer first!! The lasagna was perfectly cheesy and saucy. I was afraid that it was going to turn out dry but it came out just right.

Instructions to make Two layer alfredo lasagna:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Cook lasagna noodles in salted water.
  3. Meanwhile cube chicken breasts and add to pan. Season chicken with oregano and garlic.
  4. In a seperate pan add olive oil, salt & black pepper, sliced mushrooms, and chopped onion. Simmer until onions are translucent.
  5. Fold ricotta, alfredo sauce, and spinach into the onions and mushrooms and remove pan from heat.
  6. Oil the 9x13 pan and add a layer of lasagna noodles. (i used 3 noodles each layer, 9 noodles total)
  7. Cover the noodles with the sauce mixture in a semi-thick fashion. Then add the cubed chicken. Another layer of noodles. And so on so forth until all ingredients are used. (make sure you leave enough sauce to cover the top of the noodles when done layering)
  8. Once everything is layered cover pan with the aluminium foil and put in preheated oven.
  9. Bake covered for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Remove lasagna from oven and let it settle for five minutes. Uncover. Serve. And enjoy!'

The lasagna was perfectly cheesy and saucy. I was afraid that it was going to turn out dry but it came out just right. Then add two ladles full of Alfredo sauce to the bottom. Now start putting your layers together. Over the sauce, you lay out four pieces of lasagna noodles.
