  7. Get 1/2 cup Olive oil

  9. Take 2 tbsp Oregano
  10. Prepare 2 tsp Salt
  11. Make ready 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  12. Get 2 tbsp Paprika powder
Instructions to make Homemade Peri Peri Chicken:
  1. Prepare all the peri peri sauce ingredients, bell pepper that have been washed and cut into pieces, peeled and wash the garlic, squeeze the lemon and take the juice, wash the chillies padi.
  2. TO DO THE PERI PERI SAUCE : add the olive oil and white vinegar in a saucepan and heat to a simmer over a small temperature then add red bell peppers, garlic, lemon juice and chilies padi. Let it simmer over a small temperature for 15 minutes. Next step add the oregano,paprika powder, chili powder,salt and let simmer for another 15 minutes. When finished let cool then blend until smooth. Put the peri peri sauce into a bowl,cover with clingwrap and store in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Wash the chicken thoroughly and wipe dry with kitchen towel, cut the chicken like a butterfly. Place on a baking sheet and coat with peri peri sauce until evenly. Let stand for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat oven to a temperature of 200 degrees C. Put into the oven the peri peri chicken and let stand for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes passed, lower the temperature to 180 degrees C and let the peri peri chicken cook for 15-20 minutes. Ready to eat and serve with the remaining peri peri sauce. Bon appetit !!!
