Instructions to make Eggless Red Velvet Cake:
  1. Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy with a whisk.
  2. In a cup add measured milk and 1 tsp vinegar. Let sit for 5 minutes or till milk curdles. Mix in the milk with butter-sugar mixture.
  3. Sift in the dry ingredients in the wet mixture and mix well to form lump free batter. Now add in red gel food colouring & the 1 tsp vinegar. Mix well and rest the batter for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Grease and line the cake pan with parchment paper and add the batter in the tin after giving the batter a good mix. The oven should be preheated at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
  5. Bake the batter for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Check with a toothpick if baked completely, if not, bake for another 5-10 minutes / till baked completely (be careful to not overbake/burn the cake).
