Instructions to make Stew beef:
  1. Trim the fat and gristle from the beef. Put into a pot of water 2 quarts, and boil add sugar, black vinegar, salt, white pepper and garlic. Boil for 30 minutes. Set aside. Discard the beef trimmings after you make the broth.

  7. Take the meat and vegetables out and add wine and Tomato paste to liquids in roaster.
  8. Bring to a boil add chickpea flour stirring constantly as it will thicken.
  9. Cut the beef up into bite sized pieces. Add back to roaster.
  10. Then add the vegetables. Stir everything coating the stew beef.
